ANDREA BANTA
PTO President/ Presidente
This is Andrea's 3rd year serving as President and 4th year on the board. She has endless amounts of creativity and energy she dedicates to improving our school. She is our fearless leader and the face of the PTO. For all the time you see her helping in the school she is putting hours in behind the scenes as well for us!
Andrea is mom to 2 students at BCE.
Este es el tercer año de Andrea como Presidenta y el cuarto como miembro de la Junta. Ella tiene cantidades interminables de creatividad y energía que dedica a mejorar nuestra escuela. Ella es nuestra líder sin miedo y la cara de la PTO. ¡Por todo el tiempo que la ves ayudando en la escuela ella está poniendo horas detrás de las escenas también para nosotros!

KATIE CHIPKO
PTO Vice President/ Vicepresidente
This is Katie's 4th year holding a board position for the PTO. She is detail oriented and has fantastic connections in the central Oregon community that truly elevate our family events. Katie makes the magic happen with event layouts and help produce fundraisers look effortless
(they are not).
Katie is mom to 2 kiddos at BCE.
Este es el cuarto año que Katie ocupa un puesto en la junta directiva del PTO. Ella es detallista y tiene conexiones fantásticas en la comunidad central de Oregon que realmente elevan nuestros eventos familiares. Katie hace que la magia suceda con diseños de eventos y hace que nuestros recaudadores de fondos se ven sin esfuerzo (no lo son).

MEGHAN HALL
PTO Treasurer / Tesorero
This is Meghan's second year serving as treasurer on the PTO Board. She is fabulous with numbers and invests any surplus funds we have wisely. Our bank account has grown under her care and our budget has never looked healthier!
Meghan is mom to 2 students at BCE.

Amber Frost
PTO Secretary / Secretaria
This is Amber's first year holding a board position for the PTO. Amber has shown us that she in on time and on point and will be an incredible secretary for our team. She has one kiddo in first grade at BCE.
Este es el primer año que Amber ocupa un puesto en la junta del PTO. Amber nos ha demostrado que en el tiempo y en el punto y será una secretaria increíble para nuestro equipo. Ella tiene un kiddo en primer grado en BCE.
Wendy Arnold
Volunteer Coordinator / Coordinadora de voluntarios
Wendy is new to the PTO board but has been an active and supportive parent for the last five years as a BCE mom. She comes to us with a ton of non-profit experience and is ready to reach out and wrangle more parents to helping with our events. Wendy is a mom to a 4th grader at Bear Creek.
Wendy es nueva en la junta del PTO pero ha sido una madre activa y de apoyo durante los últimos cinco años como madre del BCE. Ella viene a nosotros con un montón de experiencia sin fines de lucro y está listo para llegar y convencer a más padres a ayudar con nuestros eventos. LAUREN BALE
Director of Communications / Director de Comunicación
This is Lauren's 3rd consecutive year serving on the board and she has transitioned to a new position for the 2024-2025 school year. She is an active parent, volunteering in the classroom and with a marketing background she is sure to keep us all informed about the who, what, where, when, and why happening at Bear Creek. Lauren is mom to a 3rd grader.

MOLLY ESPAÑA

This is Molly's 4th year serving on the Board. In addition to helping us earn free money with things like BOX Tops and Office Max give back to schools she updates the website and has a hand in meal planning for events. She is mom to 2 students at BCE.

KATHYA AVILA CHOQUEZ
Bilingual Liasion/ Enlace bilingüe
This is Kathya's 3rd year serving on the PTO board and she has transitioned from our communications director to our bilingual liason. She is bilingual and has strong latin connections in central Oregon and at Bear Creek. Her translation skills are invaluable to our team and she continues to be a tremendous asset to our team.
Este es el 3er año de Kathya sirviendo en la junta de PTO y ella ha hecho la transición de nuestra directora de comunicaciones a nuestro enlace bilingüe. Ella es bilingüe y tiene fuertes conexiones latinas en el centro de Oregon y en Bear Creek. Sevda Dey
Fundraising Coordinator/

Sevda joins the PTO in a brand new board position as our fundraising coordinator. She is a powerhouse who understands that every dollar counts toward giving our students the best Bear Creek can offer. We are excited to have her on our team.

MARC ZOLLINGER
BCE Principal / Director de la escuela
Principal Zollinger comes to us from the Portland area with a plethora of experience in both administration and as a bilingual classroom teacher. We couldn't be more pleased that he secured the title as our principal. Without his support we would not be able to accomplish everything we aim to do for Bear Creek Elementary.
